5th Annual National Student Show and Conference

APR 2-4, 2009 – Picture the top designers, art directors, illustrators and
photographers in the industry, all gathered in one location — all
admiring your best work. Sound good? Then stop drooling on your
keyboard and start filling out your application for the Dallas Society
of Visual Communications’ 5th Annual National Student Show and
Conference, to be held at the Renaissance Dallas-Richardson Hotel
April 2-4, 2009. A three-day event featuring four keynote speakers, a
job fair and over $20,000 in scholarships, it’s the only national show
and conference dedicated exclusively to student work.

Will there be an online registration? And all the project that I want to enter have to be there before 21 Feb or postmarked by 21 Feb? Will there be any poster for the event as of today I have not seen any.

Quick question, I paid online over a week ago and the $150 still has not been deducted from my account. I entered a piece for the show so my question is, when will they deduct the money from my account?

Is online registration working? i didn't get a confirmation email.
on Mar. 1, 2009

Larry Oliver Said:

Gavin and Lauren: Thanks for registering for the conference online! It is going to be a great conference. At the moment, when you fill out the fields for payment online, your information is sent to the DSVC secretary who is manually entering the credit card information supplied for payment. There is no receipt available at the moment. This is certainly a busy time for all of us and we are working hard to get the hundreds of registrations taken care of. Rest assured that if your transaction was successful, your payment will post soon (if it has not already). Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing you this year. Best- Larry Oliver
