It's time to Go All In with the 2011 DSVC Dallas Show

JUNE 4, 2011 — Polish those chucks, and iron your bow-ties, it's time for the 43rd annual Dallas Show — the most anticipated event of the DSVC year. Check out the work selected by our judges as the best in the area. You placed your bets on your creative, now come see who's going to walk away with the wins.

Online ordering has closed. You can purchase tickets at the door.

This year, have some fun and do some good at our first annual casino fundraiser. Enjoy cocktails over craps, blackjack, poker and roulette. Stack your chips, and enter our raffle where we have a host of great prizes including signed and framed CSA posters, prints from bee things, a classical guitar, a package for two from the Belmont hotel and more. Casino chips may be purchased online with your tickets or at the event in increments of $40. All proceeds from the casino fundraiser will go to BrailleInk — a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the experience shared reading and promoting braille awareness.

Enjoy a dinner and drinks during our awards presentation highlighting the great individuals being honored for a lifetime of commitment to the industry, and chuckle as Master of Ceremonies, Chris Smith, reveals who will be taking home the bronze, silver and gold. Come see and support (and maybe find out if you're one of) this year's winners.

Special thanks to Olmsted-Kirk for providing paper for the show.

If our design is in the Multimedia category and we've uploaded to Box.net, do we still need to delivery mounted screen grabs to your North Dallas location?

Frances- Good day! We tried to upload our films that got into the show, but box.net tells me that they are too large for upload unless the acct. is upgraded. The films are fairly long so they are very large in file size. We will just burn them to a DVD and send them with the print entries. Let me know if that will be OK.
    Thank you.

Suddenly your link to the detailed hanging instructions (via tumbler) is blocked here at work. I noticed before that the letter and the instructions online contradict one another. Can you clarify, please, are posters to be submitted mounted or unmounted??

    Thanks

CP, sorry for the trouble. Please mount your posters to foam core.

If our design is in the Website category do we disregard the mounted screen grabs as well (like multimedia)?

    on May. 19, 2011
  • Brandon DeLoach said:

    EMG,
You do not need to mount screen grabs, but you do need to send in a mounted credit tag for each piece you got in.
