This is the most prestigious honor the DSVC can bestow. Based on membership nominations, this award is given to individual whose careers in visual communication have elevated the standards of the profession in general and brought recognition to the Dallas market. Recipients of the Golden Egg are not required to be members of the DSVC. Nomination criteria include sustained recognition (i.e., awards) at both the local and national levels, significant positive impact on the industry as a whole or the Dallas market in particular, and a sustained history of mentoring, teaching, or lecturing.
