Designer/Production Artist

ProPac Marketing is a small to mid-sized Addison-based agency, with a primary emphasis on in-store activation of POS for the salty snack category. The company is well established and stable, with over two decades of dedicated service with Fortune 500 companies.

We're looking for a strong design/production artist that is looking for an opportunity to create impressive work in a dynamic, often fluid environment, working closely with a team of fun-loving designers.

Candidates must have:

• At least 2 years of agency experience or equivalent
• A brain full of good ideas!
• A strong working knowledge of CS5 (Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign)
• Outstanding design skills and an eye for clear hierarchy, particularly with point-of-sale pieces
• Professional work ethic and attitude
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects/timelines
• Be comfortable brainstorming in a group environment
• Feel comfortable conversing with account staff and/or clients
• An understanding of printing and mechanicals
• Be able to integrate themselves into a FUN team environment, collaborating, incorporating feedback, and adding value. 

Bonus Points:

• A digital background, including HTML, CSS and/or Flash
• 3D rendering background (SketchUp, Strata, etc.)
• Experience with photoshoots

This is a temp-to-perm position

Compensation: Hourly during the Temp period. 

Perm position $40-45k, plus benefits
