Creative Director

Corgan seeks an experienced and accomplished Creative Director (CD) to join our growing in-house graphics studio. The CD will lead, inspire, motivate and provide art direction to the graphics studio, and will also be responsible for the development and execution of creative work within the firm. The CD must be experienced in branding and its influence on corporate culture. The CD will be responsible for the artistic development of marketing and promotional materials, including all in-house graphics projects and the conception, design, and execution of innovative visuals including presentations, marketing materials (booklets, posters, postcards, leave-behinds), environmental signage and branding packages. Candidate will be required to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with internal clients from all studios, as well as outside clients.
 
The individual must have strong leadership and communication skills and be responsible for interviewing, hiring and coaching graphics studio members, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Candidate should be highly skilled in marketing, as you will work closely with the marketing director in strategic planning for in-house and out-of house messaging. Candidate will also provide forward thinking, creative leadership and promote collaboration within our firm.
 
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design; have 6 to 10 years industry experience, 3 of those in a leadership role as a Creative Director. Individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Must be thorough and possess exceptional attention to detail and be able to work independently and under pressure. Individual must be highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and Microsoft Office Suite.
