Graphic Designer

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer will assist in the production of advertising, print, exhibit, website and other marketing materials for US distribution and global sharing. Ability to coordinate project related services of outside vendors for printing, photography, and imaging and other required needs. Produce projects within agreed deadlines from concept to completion within budget and quality standards

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):

• Printed sales support material: (case reviews, sell sheets, brochures, operative techniques) 50%
• Advertising: (all products lines/ insurance) 10%
• Corporate: (product manuals, product labels, price lists, contract lists, annual report) 10%
• Exhibit Graphics: 10%
• Branding Support 10%
• Emarketing Support 10%
• Regular attendance required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires comprehensive design skills and experience. Demonstrated evidence of highly developed design ability and effective project management is necessary. Knowledge of pre-press, printing and imaging required. A four year degree in graphic design or a related field with work experience is required. Strong attention to detail, high professional standards and exceptional organizational ability are critical. Must be proficient in Quark Express, InDesign and Adobe Suite programs.

• Ability to work at a Macintosh workstation each workday
• 80% sitting required
• Ability to travel to local vendors on a limited basis using personal vehicle: 5%
• Lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Stooping, walking, reaching overhead periodically during each day
• Eyesight corrected to 20/20
