Our Dallas, TX office is seeking a Junior Art Director to join the hawkeye team.

Position Description:

The Junior Art Director formulates concepts and executes designs for advertising, collateral, promotional and interactive materials from layout to finished mechanicals.  The Art Director will design layouts for art work and copy to be presented by visual communications media, such as magazines, newspapers, television, posters, online advertising, direct marketing, and packaging. 

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of full time work experience
• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or vocational/technical degree in Art/Design and at least one year of experience in an art studio or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of advertising, design and/or direct marketing programs.
• General knowledge of pre-press and preparation of computer art files for production.
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark Xpress.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively and to generate innovative ideas.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and associates.
• Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and work well under pressure.
• Willingness to be part of a creative team and take direction from other team members.
