Art Director

Ivie & Associates is looking for an Art Director ready to take his/her game to the next level. Our clients are some of the largest and most productive companies in the country with endless opportunities to stretch any creative mind.

The Art Director will be responsible for artistic development of marketing and promotional materials, including print, radio or television advertisements; collateral; web sites; and internal and external corporate publications. This individual must possess proven conceptual and design skills and assist the Creative Directors in improving the execution of tactical efforts based on specific marketing strategies.

Candidate must have strong project management skills, ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate stringent deadlines and properly estimate time for work. Utilization of experience to create a range of concepts and the ability to communicate is key. Self-motivated team player with a positive go-get-em attitude is necessary. No prima donnas’ needed.

Job Requirements

The role of an Art Director at Ivie requires

5 years of experience as a creative professional and formal design training from a 4-year institution (or equivalent) with:

• Exceptional conceptual and design skills.
• Expert use of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are a must.
• Strong typographical skills with a combination of print, production and web experience is ideal. HTML, Flash or motion graphic and interactive design skills are a plus.
