Graphic Production Services

Seeking an energetic, positive Print Production Artist to help produce a variety of projects for the Neiman Marcus Group.   The position primarily entails page production, but some design and art direction of collateral projects may be required. The ideal candidate can efficiently and effectively build print catalogs and other graphic materials using InDesign and Photoshop on a Macintosh computer. Must have proficiency in print/publishing (i.e.: four-color process, image resolution, type-specifying, etc.). Also must have excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure in both a team and individual environment.  
 
 
Job Duties:

• Build catalog templates/spreads, and collateral projects in InDesign
• Import copy and place images into predetermined layouts.
• Scan images for position.  Create low resolution photo comps and minor color retouching in Photoshop.
• Meet deadlines as required by schedule
• Other miscellaneous duties as requested by Art Director or Print Production Manager
  

 
Job Requirements: 

• 2+ years related experience in catalog, publishing, and direct mail is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of InDesign and PhotoShop on the Mac platform. Powerpoint and/or Keynote experience a plus.
• Strong typographic principals and layout skills including the use of style sheets, multi-page documents and four-color process.
• Ability to work well under pressure, handling several projects simultaneously and ability to manage workflow by reprioritizing, as needed.
• Work well in both a team and individual environment.
• Flex hours required in order to meet deadlines
