Senior Designer - Marketing and Publications

As the senior designer of marketing and publications at UT Southwestern, you will be responsible for the design and execution of major marketing materials, such as donor cultivation brochures and newsletters, annual reports, direct mail promotions, magazines and print advertising campaigns. You will also work closely with the marketing team and outside creative teams to support and expand upon institutional branding efforts, as well as assist the Associate Director of Design Services to ensure client expectations are met in terms of budget, quality and turnaround time. In addition, you will design online interfaces, including web pages and microsites, and will supervise freelance designers as needed.
 
Position Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in commercial or fine arts with at least 1 year experience in an ad agency environment, as well as a minimum of 5 years design experience and extensive experience managing print work through all stages of production.  Also requires web design experience and proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Must work well under tight deadlines. Healthcare experience a plus.
